It's letter out alot of bubbles out of the outlet, I tried adjusting it, it was the same and the bubble trap isn't stopping them from going into the aquarium. The skimmer recomands 8 to 10 inches, mine is in 8 inches. If you want an external pump, the Octopus BH1000 is the way to go. Getting ready to switch from the BH100 to the BH1000 here.
