WebJan 3, 2024 · To receive higher marks for dramatic appropriateness, students should: Rely on conveying the sense of the poem through its language, not through distracting dramatic gestures. Not act out each word of the poem. Let the words of the poem do the work. Use occasional gestures if appropriate. When uncertain, however, leave them out. WebThe duration of the speech to be delivered should be at least 3 (three) minutes (minimum) and at most 4 (four) minutes (maximum). If the duration of the speech delivered is less than 3 minutes, deductions will be given. Contestants will be asked to stop delivering his/her speech after the 4th minute.
